Respiratory Services

ICP’s Respiratory Services Department is licensed by the State of Ohio DME.

Clinical Staff
ICP Respiratory Services department has two licensed respiratory therapists on staff and is available 24/7. They are qualified and experienced in the needs of the long-term care environment.

Monthly visits are made by the therapist to evaluate residents and equipment and to ensure resident therapy compliance and reinforce state survey guidelines regarding oxygen.

A Continuous Quality Improvement Report, which summarizes their visit, is submitted to a facility with recommendations, if necessary.

Equipment
State-of-the-art equipment is provided; concentrators, CPAP, BiPAP, portable oxygen systems, aerosol machines, suction machines, compressors, conserving devices and all supplies required for use.

Education
Respiratory focused contact hours and in-service programs are available. Bedside in-servicing is provided when appropriate.
